When I was young, I read a considerable amount of the works of H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos. Nyogtha, Haunter of the Red Abyss, The Thing which Should Not Be is described as an inky shadow and uses shadows as portals to our dimension.
This is the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw this black paint on a stucco wall and the idea was further cemented in my mind when I saw that the wall was cracked open in the center of the black paint.
Pathway to Nyogtha

All paper prints are printed on metallic glossy paper and matted using archival materials.
Paper prints are framed with oak and stained to accent the colors and tones of any image they hold.
All limited edition canvases are printed, wrapped, and framed in house! Before they are wrapped I coat them with a glossy varnish that blocks ultraviolet rays and acts as a color seal so they will not fade or discolor.
Canvas floating frames are stained oak with a walnut inlay that is stained ebony to create a darker shadow to make the image stand out against any color wall!
Photos of framed pieces are samples of what the frame will look like.
For framed canvases add an additional 4 inches to the diameter of the piece to compensate for the frame width and height.
