When I saw the hoodoos at Bryce Canyon, I knew I wanted to forego the over abundant wide angle "grand vista" shot and take an abstract minimalist approach to capture what makes this landscape truly unique. My approach was to isolate a small group that compositionally spoke to me with diagonal lines to create a sense of movement and complement the vertical shapes of the hoodoos themselves.
The print is made using Epson Signature Series Fiber based papers and Epson K3 inks. Matted with 100% archival cotton rag mat board. The frame is 11x14 hand crafted Oak with an Ebony stain made specifically to accent the tonal range of the image. The glass is uv blocking anti reflective plexiglass for superior protection and longevity.
